Overview of our Beckman Spectraspan V, Direct-Coupled Plasma Spectrophotometer Our DCP Spectrophotometer is used at the MP2 Research Group laboratory for trace element analyses. The detection limits for many elements are in the ppm and ppb range. This instrument enables us to analyze for lithium, boron, beryllium and heavier elements.
